Sylvanas parents and brother died in the first war she was hoping she would see them after her true death. The arbiter was basically an unfeeling robot. Every thing that exists in Maldraxxus is the most basic forms of "just crawled out of the muck - let's see if we can make it!" and it seems like an awesome place for a warrior to be. It's "life" but, like, the kind that existed on Earth before lichen showed up to turn rocks into dirt or whatever and make way for plants -> oxygen -> everything we recognize as critters.
And it's not really that weird to "live" as a weirdo construct creature when you're somewhere that "sitched out of parts" is a valid lifestyle choice.Įven the zone itself makes me happy. The undeath isn't even really undeath - those things we make in the stichyard are a bit gross but, when you think about it, are souls getting a second chance in a totally different form.
Maldraxxus, on the other hand, is the very beginnings of life the kind that has to fight for every step on their path towards survival. It looks undead, but honestly is my favorite version of "life" in any of the zones.Īrdenweald (maybe biased by long-time druid main) looks like the obvious choice on the surface, but the "life" story there is being part of a cycle of death and rebirth.
